These two cuties had two priorities. 1 – get married. 2 – have fun. They nailed it. This wedding couldn’t possibly have exuded more fun! They had matching bridesmaid tattoos, the Magic Bus, side walk chalk art and a bunch of friends and relatives ready to party. The couple chose to get married at the Byron Bay Surf Club. Most of their family was coming over from New Zealand and they really wanted to show off some of the best Australia had to offer. Byron Bay does that.
They were pretty happy to leave the styling to us on one condition – not too many flowers. “Ethan hates flowers” said Erica. We had a few (because lets face it – they’re pretty), but we added impact by using lots of succulents (thanks for trusting us with the altar decoration!), some amazing feature pendants, beautiful lounge furniture and festoon lighting. Sometimes less is more.
Looking through their photos by Prue Franzmann Photography it was pretty clear they had an amazing day – the grins did not leave their faces.
