Towards the very end of last year we took some time off planning other people’s weddings and parties to celebrate something very special to us – the impending birth of our baby girl.  We wouldn’t call it your typical baby shower – in fact, we specified no gifts (not that anyone paid attention to that).  We also kept away from the other usual suspects such as games, blue, pink etc and pretty much just threw a party with some of our closest friends.  And yep, you probably noticed – the guys were welcome too!

We got baking and sourced lots of goodies to put together an epic grazing station.  Our dear friend Elise from Elyssium Blooms created some gorgeous florals for us, whilst our lovely friend Stacy from Dot & Roy made us a delicious cake.  We created a custom sign and designed plates to match our awesome brollies.  And lastly, as a thank you to our lovely lady friends, we made some gorgeous rose water mist favours.  It was a lovely way to catch up with friends before we became consumed with all things baby.
